Exotic Game Hunting Ranch in West Texas
Our exotic game hunting ranch offers unforgettable guided hunts on our high-fence property adjacent to the main Salt Fork Ranch in Clairemont, Texas. Hunt premier exotic species including Axis Deer, Fallow Deer, and Blackbuck Antelope, with additional animals available upon request. Conveniently located just 3.5 hours west of DFW, 1 hour southeast of Lubbock, and 1.5 hours from Abilene, our ranch provides the perfect destination for Texas exotic hunts surrounded by scenic landscapes and abundant wildlife.
A typical guided hunt begins with your afternoon arrival and time to settle into the lodge. Hunters are welcome to sight-in their rifles at our private range before the adventure begins. We highly recommend shooting your rifle before arriving, in case there are any issues with it or your scope. Depending on conditions and preference, hunts may be conducted spot and stalk, safari-style, or from comfortable blinds designed for optimal success.
After your evening hunt, enjoy a home-cooked Texas meal, steaks on the grill, ribs from the smoker, and hearty ranch-style sides. If your target hasn’t been harvested yet, you’ll head out again the next morning after a light breakfast. Once your animal is down, we’ll take professional trophy photos, skin and quarter your game, and can deliver it to a trusted local processor or taxidermist if desired. After lunch, you’ll head home with memories of a true Texas exotic hunting experience.
Hunters who harvest early can enjoy a complimentary hog or predator hunt the following morning. If additional time is needed to complete your hunt, extra days can be added for $250 per day. We recommend allowing one full day per animal for multi-species exotic hunts. If a shot draws blood but the animal isn’t recovered after a thorough search, the hunt is considered complete and full payment is required, though we will make every effort to recover your animal.
